Hey Dragon Ball fans! Today, I want to share a theory I’ve been thinking about ever since Dragon Ball Daima was released. It’s about the identity of Goku in Daima and whether he might actually be Xeno Goku from Super Dragon Ball Heroes. Let’s break it down.

[Super Saiyan 4 — The Big Clue]

First up, the obvious difference: Goku uses Super Saiyan 4 in Daima, but we never see Super Saiyan 4 in Dragon Ball Super. Even Super Goku might not know about this transformation.

But here’s the thing — Xeno Goku regularly transforms into Super Saiyan 4 in Super Dragon Ball Heroes. So Daima Goku’s use of this form is already a hint that he might be closer to Xeno Goku than to the main timeline Goku.

[No God Ki Awareness]

Next, let’s talk about God Ki.

Xeno Goku doesn’t acknowledge Super Saiyan God or God Ki, and he doesn’t use those divine forms.

In Daima, Goku also doesn’t show any signs of God Ki or divine transformations.

Meanwhile, Super Goku from Dragon Ball Super uses God Ki forms all the time.

[Knowledge of Destroyers and Angels]

Another important difference is their knowledge.

Super Goku knows about Destroyers like Beerus, Angels like Whis, the Grand Priest, and even Zeno.

But Xeno Goku only seems to know about Supreme Kais.

Daima Goku also only has a little knowledge about Supreme Kais, and doesn’t acknowledge Destroyers or Angels.

[Power Pole — The Nostalgic Weapon]

Both Daima Goku and Xeno Goku carry the Power Pole, which is a classic Dragon Ball weapon that Super Goku hasn’t used since early Dragon Ball Z.

[Is Daima a Prequel?]

There are hints that Daima is a prequel to Dragon Ball Super.

In Daima, the Kaioshin explains the multiverse to Goku.

But in Dragon Ball Super, Goku only learns about the multiverse after Champa and Vados arrive.

Even in the Battle of Gods movie, Beerus only tells Goku about the gods near the end.

[Canon or Not?]

So is Daima canon? That’s still debated.

The differences in Goku’s power, knowledge, and equipment suggest it might be an alternate timeline or spin-off.

But the prequel hints suggest it could be connected.

When you put it all together — the use of Super Saiyan 4, the lack of God Ki knowledge, limited awareness of divine beings, the Power Pole, and the multiverse explanation — it seems likely that Daima Goku is either Xeno Goku or a very similar alternate version.

Whether it’s canon or not, Daima adds an exciting layer to the Dragon Ball multiverse.
